Oh Paris. August 6th. Arrived.

Made it to Paris. Easy flight, six seats for five people, good food and on time. Took the RER into Paris and walked to our Flat after a quick breakfast snack at our first café.

Had to stop on the way for a coffee and snack.

Café Paris Beaubourg is facing the Stravinsky Fountain on Rue Saint-Merri. Bread and croissant, butter & jam. Fresh orange juice and coffee au lait or hot chocolate for 7 Euro per person. Outdoor setting, priceless.

We found our flat at 14 Rue Saint-Merri without trouble and the 11:30 rendez-vous to get the keys (and pay) was easy. The apartment is perfect, clean and comfortable. On the fourth floor you best be in shape, 86 steep spiral stairs up to the apartment.

Happy to finally be in Paris and at our flat after our overnight transatlantic flight. This will be a perfect central location for exploring Paris.
